Learning How To Create My Own Information Product
These past few weeks I have been really busy, learning how to create my own information product. This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time but have put off for months and months using various excuses, the main one being that ‘I don’t have the time’, when really, with me, it’s a lack of confidence thing!
I decided that the time was right to learn how to create my own information product and I would make time to complete the task from start to finish. Luckily, I managed to get a place on John Thornhill’s Personal Coaching Course, something I had tried to get on earlier in the year but because John only takes 20 or so students at a time, the slots were always sold out when I ‘clicked to join’.
The course runs for sixteen weeks and having a week between each module gives
plenty of time of time to complete each weekly set of tasks. However, I have fallen
behind, owing to a few offline problems, but I’m confident I’ll catch up over the next
couple of weeks!
The product I am creating is an ebook to help the beginner and intermediate in a
certain subject that I will reveal a bit closer to launch day. The ebook is nearly
ready and I’m going to take the massive (for me!) step of producing around 20
video tutorials to complement the ebook and including them in the price of the ebook!
I have my domain name and hosting set up at D9 Hosting and I have ordered my mini website graphics from Dave and Steve at Planet Divinity and when I receive the graphics, I’ll put a link on here to the website so you can see how creative Planet Divinity are with graphics!
I also have a bit of work to do on the salespage and I can then concentrate on the
video’s. I’m confident that I’ll be good to go in about two weeks.
Right, that’s about all for today, back to the salespage!
